WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The license year runs from 1st January to 31st December. We offer a discount to those joining after the 1st of August. Scholars / Juniors are defined as being under the age of 20 on the 31st of December of the license year. Please note: Juniors MUST wear “J” tags to be eligible for prizes (available from the Club Secretary). A copy of your ID or birth certificate must be attached to the membership form. We offer discounted fees for full-time students: proof of registration at a tertiary educational institution is required.
read more...Step 1: Register / Update with ASA (Athletics South Africa)
New Members: All runners who are joining a running Club for the first time need to register with ASA online asa.saclubs.co.za.
Renewal / Change of Club: All runners renewing their membership / changing clubs are requested to log onto the same site to update their details.
If you have been a member of another club in the last year, you need to inform your previous club that you are changing to Celtic Harriers. It will then have to change your status in the ASA database to ‘Transfer’. A clearance certificate from your previous club must accompany this form.
