Don Lock Memorial Run
A fast and flat road race
The race was started way back in 1960 by club member Alex Jones after his good friend Don Lock, also a Celtic member, was tragically killed in a motor car accident. The event, which is held in October every year, offers runners an 8km or a 15km route along the original, fast, flat route between the Rondebosch Common and Imam Haron (formerly Lansdowne) Road in Claremont.
